The Report lists some of the preferred characteristics of the new generation in the Humboldt Area from the transmission system perspective. The Report also gives a rough idea of the transmission capacity for generator interconnections that may be available at various locations in the Humboldt Area and the proxy costs to increase the transmission capacity.

The actual transmission network upgrade costs for a specific project, determined by the System Impact Study/Facility Study (SIS/FS), may differ from the transmission proxy cost and PG&E is not responsible or liable for any deviation between estimated and actual costs.

This Report provides a description of the transmission proxy costs. It gives a rough idea of the transmission capacity that may be available at various locations in the PG&E system and the proxy costs to increase the transmission capacity to different levels.

The transmission proxy costs will be used solely for the purpose of ranking and evaluating Offers for generation projects for which no cost estimates from their respective System Impact Study/Facility Study (SIS/FS) are available. The actual transmission network upgrade costs for a specific project, determined by the SIS/FS, may differ from the transmission proxy costs and PG&E is not responsible or liable for any deviation between estimated and actual costs.
