If your phone is equipped with a Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) or a special teletypewriter (TTY), you can reach PG&E by calling 1 (800) 652-4712 (toll free). Printed answers displayed on your machine will respond to your questions about energy efficiency, customer programs, bills or service problems.
For telecommunications assistance for hearing- or speech-impaired customers who use TDD and TTY communications systems, call 1 (800) 652-4712 Monday through Friday.
Blind and visually-impaired customers can request their PG&E monthly energy bills in Braille. PG&E's Braille bill provides information about energy usage, billing date and payment amount. There's also information comparing the current month's usage to the previous month.
The Braille bill is designed as a supplement to the actual print bill and will arrive about a week later. Late notices as well as other legally-mandated announcements will not be part of the Braille package. To sign up for the Braille Bill program, call PG&E's customer service line at 1 (800) 743-5000.
