PG&E Academy

It takes intense training to operate and repair natural gas pipelines or climb power poles safely during a storm. Where do PG&E crews learn the technical skills they need to work on massive gas pipelines and live electric lines? At PG&E's Livermore Training Center which offers a variety of technical training classes.

PG&E offers a variety of classes that are open, as space permits, to other businesses and public works departments. These classes have been attended in the past by governmental agency employees, other utility employees, city government employees, and employees of the California Independent System Operator, to name a few.

Under Additional Information you will find short videos describing each of our schools. Please contact us to get a course schedule and information on how to enroll.
