Earth Day 2011
Ten years of preserving what has stood for thousands. PG&E celebrates a decade of State Park Cleanups in 2010.
On Saturday, April 16, 2011, thousands of PG&E employees, their friends and family joined the California State Parks Foundation to celebrate Earth Day by performing vital maintenance and clean up activities at 18 state parks in PG&E's service area. This marked the 10th anniversary PG&E has partnered with the Foundation on Earth Day clean up and restoration activities. Volunteers pitched in in parks across the state to plant, paint and prune in the effort to improve our environment and enhance our local communities.
Supporting the California State Parks Foundation's initiatives is just one example of PG&E's dedication to environmental leadership and commitment to the communities we serve. We invite you to join us in this effort.
