California Solar Initiative (CSI)

With over 30,000 PV systems installed, PG&E has connected more solar customers to the electric grid than any other utility company in the country—in fact this represents roughly 40% of the installs throughout the entire U.S.
If you’re ready to join them, view the Solar Guide (PDF, 866 KB), which provides a simple overview on how to go solar with PG&E, or view our newly produced Consumer's Guide (PDF, 706 KB), a one-stop-shop for those considering installing solar systems, including how solar energy works, the benefits of Net Energy Metering and how to apply for state incentives. This Guide is intended to demystify consumers to the process of going solar for homeowners or businesses. If you'd like to receive copies of either, please email us at solar@pge.com.
