PG&E issues an Intermediate-term RFO seeking intermediate-term energy and capacity products from new and existing resources with contract terms through 2013. Through this Intermediate-term RFO PG&E seeks the following products:

• RPS Energy
• QF Capacity
• Operational Flexibility
• Resource Adequacy

• Resource Adequacy Confirmation Agreement
  • Use of this confirmation agreement requires an EEI Master Purchase and Sale Agreement with PG&E. Participants without such an agreement should send a request to itrfo@pge.com for PG&E’s form Master Agreement. A mark-up of the form Master Agreement should be included with Participants RA capacity offer(s) on January 14, 2009. A Master Agreement must be executed with PG&E by March 26, 2009 for offers submitted under the following Resource Adequacy Confirmation Agreement to be shortlisted.

Intermediate-term RFO Questions and Answers

The ITRFO mailbox will be down for the holidays from December 19, 2008 through January 2, 2009. No questions will be answered during this time. The final Q&A will be posted January 9, 2009. Potential participants should submit any questions well in advance of this date to ensure that they are answered.
