PG&E Chief to 49ers: Utility Actively Working to Improve Candlestick Reliability

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Tony Earley, chairman, chief executive officer, and president of PG&E Corporation, and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee today sent letters to Jed York, president and chief executive officer of the San Francisco 49ers National Football League team. In PG&E's letter, Mr. Earley addresses the cause of an electrical outage that impacted Candlestick Park before the Monday, December 19 game between the 49ers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the steps PG&E is taking to prevent a future occurrence.
