mp;E) has been named one of the ten most responsible corporate citizens among utilities in the nation by Corporate Responsibility Officer Magazine (CRO) in its recently released 10 Best Corporate Citizens by Industry 2007 rankings.
As part of CRO's search for the 10 Best, the bimonthly publication contracted with an independent firm to analyze the corporate citizenship efforts of publicly traded companies in multiple industry sectors, including Utilities, Media, Financial, Energy and Chemical. PG&E ranked among the top ten utilities in the country after the corporation was analyzed against industry peers on the categories of environmental, social, governance and financial performance.
