PG&E Winter Storm Restoration Efforts Wrapping Up in Hardest Hit Areas
Nearly all PG&E customers power has been restored following on-going severe windstorms that whipped through California causing outages to over 697,000 customers. With 99% of affected homes and businesses now in service, PG&E crews are wrapping up efforts in northern Californias remote areas.

Pacific Gas and Electric Company Restores Power to 640,000 Customers in Northern and Central California
For the third consecutive day, PG&E crews faced high winds gusting between 55-75 miles per hour to restore power to approximately 640,000 customers, or 96 percent of all affected customers, in northern and central California.

Natural Gas Watch
Natural gas bills in January are expected to drop 10.0% from last year. PG&Es residential customers can expect to pay $12.37 less for natural gas in January of 2007, compared to January of 2006.

Pacific Gas And Electric Company Cleared To Add New Supply Of Clean, Renewable Geothermal Energy
Pacific Gas and Electric Company has received approval from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to move forward with plans to contract for new supplies of renewable power from the Military Pass Road-Newberry (Vulcan) Geothermal generating facility in Newberry, Oregon. The contract will deliver up to 120-megawatts of clean renewable energy under Californias Renewables Portfolio Standards (RPS) Program, enough power to serve 90,000 PG&E customers.
