PG&E Summer Jobs Program
Empowering Youth Through Employment
A partnership between Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento, Fresno County, and Kern County
PG&E has teamed up with the Boys & Girls of Greater Sacramento, Fresno County, and Kern County to help you get ahead this summer. Visit a participating chapter near you to learn how you can gain valuable career training and apply for a summer job today!
To participate in any portion of this program youth must be:
- Ages 15-18
- Able to commit to en eight week career education program
- Interested in interviewing and applying for a summer job
A total of two hundred students will be placed in paid jobs for six weeks this summer.

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and the three Boys & Girls Clubs Chapters throughout California’s Central Valley region have joined forces to provide more than 500 underserved youth with career education and job readiness training. A group of two hundred youth will ultimately be selected through a competitive process to experience a six-week paid summer job. Summer employment opportunities will be provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs, PG&E, local nonprofit organizations and local small to medium sized businesses. Student salaries will be paid by participating Boys & Girls Clubs chapters, with grants from PG&E.
