When you seek employment online through this site, your resume will be entered automatically into our recruiting database, both for the specific position(s) you have selected, as well as for any other Pacific Gas and Electric Company employment opportunities that match your skills and experience.
Please Note: To be eligible for full-time, regular employment at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, you must be authorized to work in the United States when you begin your employment. Build/Submit Your Resume
All you need to get started is one resume and a cover letter. Your cover letter should list all job titles and job numbers that specifically interest you, as well as salary requirements. Scroll down to review some suggested tips on designing your resume.

Send one resume and a cover letter in a single transmission via e-mail. The best way to submit your resume is to use our ResumeBuilder tool. You may include your cover letter in the "Additional Skills" section of ResumeBuilder.
If your resume is stored on a disk, you may paste or type your plain text resume and cover letter (no Word documents) into the body (message area) of an e-mail and send it to ResumixAdmin@pge.com. Include your cover letter in the same message, following your resume. Do not include attachments: They cannot be read by our system. Please enter the job number on the subject line of your e-mail.

Your objective for seeking employment -- One or two lines stating general and/or specific jobs interest and preferred location, if any. Can include employment goals, position interest, skills to be used or industry you are seeking.
List most recent first. State name of university, degree received, major, minor, or special focus areas. Include your GPA and list any relevant coursework.
List most recent experience first. Include dates, job title, name of organization, and description of responsibilities. Include both paid and unpaid work, class projects if relevant to the position sought, etc.
Include special skills and/or relevant talents, language fluency, computer knowledge, lab skills, etc. Be sure to include all knowledge, skills and abilities, because we use an electronic resume-tracking system that scans for key words.
State professional associations, organizations, offices held, honors or awards received.
Once you submit your resume, no additional follow-up is necessary on your part. We review resumes on file for current and future openings. If your qualifications match a vacancy and you are a competitive candidate, we will contact you.
